Description
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), Lassen-Modoc Unit, is soliciting a contractor to provide weekly rental and replacement services for coveralls, nylon/rubber floor mats, shop towels, and related shop supplies. The contractor must furnish all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, permits, taxes, and fees; launder and replace used items weekly; attach and remove CAL FIRE patches and name tags as directed; provide collection bags; maintain itemized inventories; and obtain delivery and collection signatures. The solicitation requires bidders to submit all-inclusive rates for weekly rentals and estimated replacements over a three-year agreement. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must provide the required certification forms, rate sheet, business licensing or registration evidence, and any applicable small-business or disabled-veteran-business documentation. The agreement is expected to run from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2029, subject to approval and execution.
