Description
Sacramento County is soliciting proposals for preventative maintenance and repair services at two compressed natural gas fueling stations: one serving the Fleet Services Division and one serving the Department of Airports. The scope includes twice-monthly preventative maintenance, routine and emergency repairs, detailed inspections, compressor, dryer, dispenser, storage, controls, and leak-detection checks, parts and lubricant support, service-truck inventory, and maintenance reporting. Contractors must use certified CNG technicians, provide service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, respond on site within 48 hours for service calls and within 24 hours for emergencies, and provide all required labor, tools, materials, licenses, permits, and insurance. Remote monitoring is excluded. The airport scope also includes authorized replacement-in-kind work, obsolescence management, minor system upgrades, installation and integration, testing, commissioning, documentation, and training when requested. Proposals are evaluated on company qualifications and experience, technician qualifications, parts inventory, project understanding, references, and cost. The contract has an initial one-year term with up to four additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement; multiple awards may be made, and no minimum purchase volume is guaranteed.
