Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for weekly protective clothing and operational supply rental services for its Morongo Basin Area office. The contractor must furnish, measure, alter, label, launder, repair, replace, pick up, and deliver uniform clothing and supplies, including shop jackets, short- and long-sleeve shirts, trousers, coveralls, slip-resistant mats, and shop towels. Services include initial uniform setup, resizing, weekly exchange of soiled items for clean items, inventory inspections, and replacement or repair of items as specified. The resulting agreement is anticipated to run from November 1, 2026, through November 30, 2029, or until approvals are obtained, with a possible extension. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. Bidders must hold a valid local business license, demonstrate at least three consecutive years of relevant experience within the past five years, and submit the required forms, references, certifications, and supporting business documentation. The DVBE participation requirement is waived, although eligible DVBE participation may receive an incentive.
