Description
Sacramento County Probation Department is seeking an experienced provider to enhance its Wellness and Peer Support Program by delivering confidential, culturally competent mental health support to sworn and administrative personnel. Services are expected to include counseling and trauma therapy for law enforcement and other public-safety professionals, using licensed health professionals such as psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, or licensed professional counselors trained in evidence-based practices. The initial contract term is three years from execution, with two additional one-year extensions available by mutual agreement, for a potential five-year term. Subcontracting is permitted only if the proposer retains the majority of the work, provides required subcontractor information, and obtains prior Probation Department approval. Contractors must maintain specified insurance, including general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, professional liability, abuse or molestation coverage, and cyber liability, as applicable to the services and information handled.
