Description
The Department of Canadian Heritage is seeking up to two standing-offer suppliers to provide as-needed rental of equipment, machinery, and tools supporting major events and related operations. Mandatory equipment includes lighting, heaters, fans, aerial and scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, all-terrain vehicles, trailers, skid steers, scaffolding, ladders, material lifts, pallet trucks, and loading ramps. Optional equipment includes additional lifts, heaters, fans, snow-removal equipment, ladders, scaffolding, and material-handling equipment. The contractor must provide clean, operational equipment; transportation and personnel for delivery and servicing; inspection tags, operating manuals, inspection logs, and safety data sheets where applicable; delivery and pickup; and 24/7 emergency and service-call support. Service calls must receive a response within four hours, and emergency calls within 60 minutes. The standing offer period runs from award through August 31, 2028, with two possible one-year extensions. Canadian suppliers are eligible, and personnel requiring access to sensitive sites must obtain site-access authorization. A commercial general liability policy of at least $5,000,000 is required.
