Description
The Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price commercial construction quotation for upgrades at the High Sierra Ranger Station, Wishon Work Center, and Auberry Work Center. The scope includes two new approximately 590-square-foot Forest Service barracks, a prefabricated kitchen/laundry building with restrooms and showers, an ADA-compliant dual-vault pit toilet, reconstruction of an existing generator shed with electrical and solar-power improvements, and installation of a 30-by-40-by-14-foot pole barn with enclosed storage and lighting. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, site preparation, utilities, plumbing, propane, electrical work, and related construction activities. The quotation must include pricing for every schedule line item, a technical approach, project-management information and key-personnel resumes, proposed designs and product literature, experience on three to five similar projects performed within the past five years, and relevant past-performance information. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside under NAICS 236220, with an indicated price range of $500,000 to $1,000,000. A 20 percent bid guarantee is required for quotations exceeding $150,000, and performance and payment bonds are required as applicable under the solicitation.
