Description
Defence Construction Canada is establishing an Open Construction Source List for contractors and suppliers performing commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil construction work required by the Department of National Defence at 8 Wing Trenton and satellite sites in Belleville, Peterborough, and Prince Edward County. The list will support future competitive tenders with estimated values of $10 million or less during the three-year period from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2029. Contractors may apply at any time, although applications were requested preferably by March 4, 2026, and DCC states that applications require approximately 10 business days to process. Previous list participants must re-apply. Applicants must submit through MERX, maintain an active MERX account, and identify English or French as their preferred official language. Faxed, mailed, and emailed submissions are not accepted. Future tenders may require site meetings, additional prequalification, Indigenous-business set-asides or subcontracting requirements, and organization or personnel security requirements, including possible Facility Security Clearance at the Secret level. DCC may remove contractors for unacceptable performance evaluations, ineligibility, suspension, or lack of continued interest.
