Description
Defence Construction Canada is inviting contractors and suppliers to apply for an Open Construction Source List covering commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil construction work required by the Department of National Defence at CFB Kingston and satellite sites in Brockville and Cornwall. The list will support future tenders valued at $10 million or less during the three-year period from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2029. Contractors may apply at any time, but applications are preferably submitted by March 4, 2026, and require approximately ten business days to process. Applicants must use an active MERX account, submit electronically through the MERX posting, and indicate English or French as their preferred official language. Contractors listed on the prior 2023–2026 source list must re-apply. Future tenders may include additional prequalification requirements, site meetings, organization and personnel security requirements, and Indigenous-business set-asides or subcontracting requirements. Potential security requirements include Designated Organization Screening, personnel reliability status, and, for some procurements, Facility Security Clearance at the Secret level with secret document safeguarding. The source list is an ongoing vehicle for future competitive construction opportunities rather than a single project award.
