Description
Tulare County is soliciting bids for the 2026 Slurry Seal Program, which involves slurry sealing approximately 9 miles of existing county roads within unincorporated communities including South Visalia, Ivanhoe, Porterville, Springville, Pixley, and Strathmore. The work will occur on existing paved roadways, including segments within subdivisions with curb and gutter. The purpose is to preserve and protect the underlying pavement structure, extend pavement service life, and provide a renewed driving surface. The project will not add travel lanes or expand capacity. Construction is anticipated to begin in the third quarter of 2026 and be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.
