Description
The California Military Department is soliciting bids from certified small businesses, microbusinesses, small businesses willing to subcontract at least 25 percent to certified small businesses or microbusinesses, and disabled veteran business enterprises for HVAC repair services. The contractor must inspect, troubleshoot, evaluate, repair, replace components, program or calibrate equipment as authorized, and functionally test the existing Mitsubishi Electric City Multi VRF system serving the Ontario Armory. The scope includes indoor and outdoor units, branch controllers, refrigerant piping, controls, communication wiring, condensate systems, sensors, thermostats, and associated electrical components. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, permits, transportation, and incidentals; submit firm pricing for initial diagnostic work and listed repair items; and provide diagnostic, repair, testing, warranty, photographic, and operating-parameter documentation. Corrective work requires prior written authorization. The prime contractor must hold a valid California C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor license, perform at least 20 percent of the work with its own organization, and complete the work within 180 calendar days from the job kickoff meeting.
