The Isla Vista Recreation and Park District requests proposals from qualified consultants to provide owner-side construction management services for the Children's Park Renovation Project. The scope includes construction-phase mobilization and management planning; construction administration and project controls; general field inspection; permit and environmental compliance monitoring; CBC Chapter 17 special inspections; owner-side materials testing; labor-document and certified-payroll review; public coordination; payment and change-order review; schedule and cost control; and project closeout, plant establishment, and warranty support. The selected consultant must provide a qualified construction manager/resident engineer, general field inspector, special inspectors, testing laboratory resources, project-controls staff, and labor-document review staff. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, experience with comparable public works projects valued at least $3 million, and at least three comparable projects completed within the past seven years with references. The proposal must include a letter of intent, personnel qualifications, capabilities and approach, experience and references, a not-to-exceed fee, acknowledgment of the professional services agreement, and the completed Authorized Employee Representative Affidavit.
