The City of Carpinteria, California is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional IT consulting services to support the City's transition to Microsoft 365 and the establishment of a sustainable SharePoint and OneDrive environment. The selected consultant will assess current practices, recommend an appropriate Microsoft 365 configuration, design SharePoint and OneDrive architecture, establish governance and permissions, provide implementation and migration support, train staff, and provide documentation for approximately 43 users. The City intends to use internal IT resources for certain migration activities, including migrating email to Exchange Online and migrating files. The consultant will provide technical expertise, architecture, configuration guidance, project management, training, knowledge transfer, documentation, and ongoing administration guidance. The project is anticipated to be completed within approximately three to six months.
