Description
The City of Santa Barbara, through Santa Barbara Municipal Airport, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from experienced fixed-base operators for the East FBO Site. The site includes approximately 9.19 acres, an optional 16.16-acre expansion area, and approximately 0.95 acres for a fuel storage facility. Qualified respondents may be invited to a subsequent Request for Proposals process for the FBO redevelopment opportunity. Respondents must demonstrate at least one year of continuous FBO operating experience, including aviation fuel, engine oil and lubricant sales; fueling operations for general aviation and airlines; aviation line services; aircraft repair and maintenance; hangar and tie-down storage management; and waste-oil and hazardous-material management. The submission must also address key personnel, operating experience and fuel volumes, airport regulatory compliance, capital investment and facility development, unresolved litigation, and two current FBO references. Audited financial statements for the past year are required as a separate financial submission.
