Description
The New Jersey Department of Transportation is soliciting one technical proposal from an eligible, prequalified consultant for construction inspection services on Route 94 from Pleasant Valley Drive to Maple Grange Road, mileposts 38.0 to 43.0, in Vernon Township, Sussex County. The project will construct safety improvements including MASH-compliant guiderail upgrades, signage improvements, replacement of two traffic signals, ADA improvements at a third signal, replacement of three small culverts, scour-control measures at a fourth culvert and roadside slopes, and limited pavement resurfacing and striping at signalized intersections. The consultant must provide a Project Manager, Resident Engineer, Bridge Inspector, Road Inspector, and Scheduler Reviewer. The solicitation specifies mandatory qualifications and experience requirements, including applicable PE or NICET credentials, road and bridge construction inspection experience, references, and project-specific experience on projects valued at $5 million or more. The technical proposal must include the required letter of transmittal, resumes and qualifications, project experience and references, team commitment certification, and other applicable proposal materials. The anticipated construction period is from November 30, 2026, through December 22, 2028; the consultant agreement is project-specific and cost-plus-fixed-fee.
