Description
The City of Santa Barbara is soliciting Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for a 33,000-square-foot expansion and renovation of an existing airport terminal. The work includes terminal additions on the north, south, east, and west sides; interior renovations; expanded TSA screening and baggage handling areas; new passenger amenities, airline spaces, and concession spaces; and airside improvements including passenger boarding bridges and aircraft boarding gates. The CMAR will provide preconstruction support, construction management, coordination with airport operations, and phased construction designed to maintain safe and continuous terminal functionality during construction. The project has an estimated bid value exceeding $30 million and requires a Class A or B contractor license. The solicitation identifies payment and performance bonds at 100 percent of the contract amount and a lump-sum award structure.
