Description
The City of Goleta is seeking a qualified vendor to provide on-site coffee and pre-prepared food and beverage concession services at the Goleta Train Station. The vendor must provide and maintain all necessary equipment, operate during peak travel times and the specified service hours, staff the operation with trained personnel, offer coffee and espresso beverages, and may offer teas, cold beverages, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and other grab-and-go items. The vendor must comply with applicable health, food safety, licensing, permitting, sustainability, and payment-processing requirements, including the City's prohibition on specified single-use plastics and polystyrene foodservice items. Proposals must include a cover letter, executive summary, company profile, operational plan, equipment details, revenue-share proposal, and at least three client references from similar projects. The agreement is for an initial one-year term with two additional one-year extensions by mutual written agreement. The selected vendor must provide required insurance and is responsible for its own equipment, utilities coordination, permits, licenses, staffing, maintenance, sales reporting, and operations. The mandatory site visit is required for prospective proposers.
