Description
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority is soliciting sealed bids for inspection and repair services for its owned and leased towers. The contractor must inspect each tower annually for mechanical and structural soundness and compliance with Federal Communications Commission and Federal Aviation Administration requirements. The contractor must provide inspection reports containing photographs, descriptions of tower conditions, lighting and markings information, and recommendations for needed work. Any recommended repairs must be itemized by tower site, including separate material and labor costs. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of experience inspecting and repairing similar towers. The contract duration is 1,095 calendar days, or three years, beginning upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
