Description
The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control is seeking a contractor to provide written translation, live video interpretation, audio translation, and visual translation services. Required work includes translating legal and licensing documents, public-facing forms, websites, digital content, public service announcements, training materials, industry advisories, and the California Alcoholic Beverage Control Act. Services also include voice-over translation, transcription, captioning, subtitling, video translation, typesetting, proofreading, and Americans with Disabilities Act remediation. The contractor must support Spanish, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Punjabi, with additional languages available as needed. The solicitation requires human translation and review, relevant legal and regulatory expertise, quality assurance procedures, accessibility expertise, project management for large or complex assignments, and rapid turnaround for filled-in licensing application information. The resulting agreement is expected to run for 36 months, with a project budget of $400,000; no specific payment amount or work volume is guaranteed.
