Description
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s Communications Branch is seeking translation, editing, comparative editing, layout and creative review, and video review services in non-official languages. Required capabilities include translation from English or French; editing and comparison against source materials; review of multilingual layouts, subtitles, captions, narration, pronunciation, timing, and right-to-left text; and recommendations regarding language variants for specific markets. Services may support advertising, video scripts and videos, web and social media content, informational and promotional materials, and news releases. The solicitation identifies Arabic, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Pashto, Dari, Farsi, Russian, Ukrainian, German, Hindi, Punjabi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog, Tamil, Turkish, and Urdu as minimum language capabilities. The contractor must provide error-free deliverables in the same formats supplied by the department, with tracked changes where applicable, and handle regular and urgent requests, including urgent turnaround periods ranging from four to 48 hours. The opportunity is restricted to Canadian suppliers and requires at least five years of relevant experience within the last seven years, including five project summaries meeting specified government, language, communications, marketing, and advertising criteria. Evaluation is based on the highest combined rating of technical merit and price, weighted 60% technical merit and 40% price.
