Description
The California Department of Developmental Services is soliciting bids for qualified, certified in-person American Sign Language interpreting services on an as-needed basis for meetings, trainings, conferences, public events, sight translation, and other official business throughout California. Services must support Deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf Disabled, Hard of Hearing, and Late-Deafened individuals and may include ASL-English interpretation, trilingual services, oral, ProTactile, tactile, close-vision, lip-reading, sight translation, and voice-to-text services. The contractor must provide appropriately qualified interpreters, including master-level ASL interpreters and Certified Deaf or Deaf Interpreters for sight translation when required. The agreement is anticipated to run from October 21, 2026, through September 30, 2029. Bidders must submit the required forms, cost worksheet, references, and certification documentation, with bids accepted by email or sealed mail delivery.
