Description
The City of Des Moines Neighborhood Services, Property Improvement Division is soliciting bids for repairs to a single-family home. The scope includes window, rear entry door, and storm-door replacement; siding replacement; removal and infill of portions of the west and southwest walls; metal wrapping of porch columns; installation of pressure-treated plywood and PVC trim; removal of a window air-conditioning unit and metal awning; aluminum soffit installation; fascia wrapping and replacement of rotted fascia or soffit; and lead abatement as specified in the scope documents. Bidders must provide pricing for applicable line items and submit an Insurance Carrier form, current Iowa Department of Labor licensure, and current lead-abatement licensure. The contract commences upon issuance of a purchase order and terminates upon project completion. Federal funding requirements apply. Three client references and completed responses to the solicitation's vendor-information, legal-disclosure, conflict-of-interest, and bidder-certification questions are also required.
