The New Bedford Housing Authority invites Contractors to submit Bids for 610-622 South First Street Roof Replacement Project in New Bedford, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Studio Umbra LLC. The project consists of full removal and replacement of the entire building roofing system, trim, flashing, soffits, gutters, downspouts as specified within the contract documents. Estimated cost is $196,000.00. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 9/11/2026 at 4:00PM EDT for general bids. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive. This project is being electronically bid and hard copy bids will not be accepted. All Bids shall be submitted online at www.biddocs.com & received no later than the date & time specified. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance in the category of Roofing & must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility & signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement.
