Description
Des Moines Water Works is soliciting sealed proposals for work on two entrance and exit flood gates at the Fleur Water Treatment Plant. The base bid covers materials, equipment, and labor to remove existing fasteners, clamp bars, rubber seals, and miscellaneous hardware; replace the two rubber seals in kind; replace damaged fasteners; and reinstall the clamp bars. Bid Alternate 1 covers metal surface preparation and furnishing and applying a new protective steel coating system to all metal surfaces of the flood gates, including new hardware and fasteners. Bidding documents are available exclusively through QuestCDN under Quest Number 10345655; contractors must register with QuestCDN to download them and be recognized as plan holders.
