Description
Des Moines Public Schools is soliciting specified Eastman student string instruments, including 13-inch violas, 3/4 and 4/4 violins, 3/4 double basses, and 4/4 cellos. Required package components include Everest shoulder rests for violins and violas, Tonica strings, Carboni bows, black cloth cases for violins and violas, padded backpack bags for cellos and basses, rosin, Xeros endpin straps, and the specified cello and bass rosin types. Bids that do not meet the clarified specifications will not be accepted. The estimated bid quantities are two 13-inch violas, two 3/4 double basses, eleven 3/4 violins, five 4/4 violins, and two 4/4 cellos. The district may adjust final order volume based on awarded unit pricing, and bidders must include delivery and miscellaneous costs in their pricing.
