Description
New Kent County Department of Public Utilities is seeking qualified and insured contractors to restore and improve the exterior of two buildings—the computer laboratory and storage building—at its Reclaimed Water Distribution Facility. The work includes obtaining permits; installing charcoal asphalt shingles with a minimum 25-year life, new vinyl siding, PVC fascia and soffit, and aluminum gutters with leaf guards; protecting existing and adjoining improvements; restoring damage; maintaining site access and operations; and removing construction debris. The scope must be completed within 90 days after contract execution. The resulting agreement will also provide related on-call and emergency services for three years from execution. Bids must include all labor, equipment, materials, overhead, and profit and will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
