Description
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is soliciting bids for comprehensive snow removal, ice treatment, and landscaping services at the facility. Snow services include removal after a one-inch accumulation for multiple snowfall ranges, drifting-event response, salt and sand treatment, and spray pre-treatment for anticipated ice accumulation. Landscaping services include weekly or as-needed mowing and string trimming from approximately April through October, cleanup and off-site debris disposal, tree trimming and bush pruning, flower-bed maintenance, spring and fall fertilizer and herbicide applications, and annual lawn aeration. Additional landscaping services may be requested with a written quote before performance. The initial contract term is one year, with up to five additional annual renewals by mutual agreement, for a maximum term of six years.
