Description
The Iowa Economic Development Authority seeks a consultant to review digitized State Historic Preservation Office Historic Property Inventory Database files, including Iowa Site Inventory Form files, architectural surveys, historic context files, and project files. The contractor will identify records suitable for public release, mark records requiring redaction or internal storage, and apply criteria based on Iowa Code confidentiality provisions, retention policies, and best practices. The work also includes separating digital records into individual files using agreed-upon naming conventions that support upload to the existing database or internal storage, and implementing appropriate security and confidentiality measures for archaeological surveys, historic tax credit files, and personally identifying information. Proposers must describe their methodology, relevant experience, key personnel, financial information, references, confidentiality and retention practices, and compliance with applicable information-security policies. The cost proposal must be submitted separately using the required Attachment #3 template.
