Description
The Goodwater Housing Authority, managed by the Alexander City Housing Authority, seeks a qualified, bonded, and licensed contractor to replace vinyl siding, two-board vented soffit, and fascia metal on six apartment buildings at the Highlands site, apartments 125–140. The contractor must measure the work area, provide all labor, tools, materials, and power, and install black double-board Dutch lap siding, black caulk, matching stainless-steel trim nails, fascia, gable-end box returns, porches, and porch end caps in accordance with the specified installation requirements. The scope also includes replacing rotted or damaged wood at a separately priced per-foot rate, repainting aluminum gable vents black, properly reconnecting removed cable and wiring supports, disposing of waste daily, maintaining safe and clean work areas, sweeping for stray fasteners, and repairing any property damage. A site visit is required. Proposals must include a fixed cost, detailed technical approach, qualifications, relevant experience and past performance, client references, staffing and management information, supplier-diversity information, subcontractor or joint-venture information, Section 3 documentation, required HUD and agency forms, licenses, and insurance information. The contract is anticipated to run for a suitable period to complete the scope, but no specific contract duration is stated.
