Description
Sacramento Regional Transit District is soliciting a lump-sum bid for complete removal and disposal of the existing built-up roofing assembly, including insulation and flashings, followed by installation of a new watertight roofing system at its Instrument House. The work includes deck inspection and repairs, vapor barrier, polyisocyanurate insulation, cover board, built-up or modified-bitumen roofing, flashing of roof penetrations, replacement of damaged edge metal and coping, and rooftop walkway protection where required. The contractor must protect signal, train-control, communications, relay, and electrical equipment throughout construction while maintaining light rail and bus operations. Requirements include prevailing wages, California contractor licensing in Class A, Class B, or Class C-39, a 20-year no-dollar-limit manufacturer system warranty, a two-year workmanship warranty, quality-control documentation, and coordination with SacRT operations and track-access procedures. The engineer's estimate is $8,000, and the project duration is 90 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
