Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections is soliciting electronic bids from DGS-certified micro businesses for replacement of the roofs on three residences at SCI Fayette: the Superintendent's residence and two Deputy residences, totaling approximately 6,900 square feet. Work includes removing existing roof assemblies, metal edging, flashings, fascia trim, ridge vents, gutters, and downspouts; installing underlayment, ice and water shield, shingle roofing, roof edges, flashings, ridge vents as required, and sealants; and providing a 30-year shingle warranty. Contractors must comply with prevailing-wage requirements, provide required insurance, and perform at least 51% of the work themselves. A mandatory site inspection is required to submit a bid. The project must be completed within 60 calendar days after the initial job conference. Bidders must submit costs through the PA Supplier Portal, the Domestic Workforce Utilization Form, the Worker Protection and Investment Certification Form, and a valid Micro Business Certificate. Only electronic bid responses from registered vendors will be accepted.
