Description
The City of West Des Moines is seeking proposals for either or both of two options: a new clustered enterprise storage environment that does not rely on Qumulo Core software, or replacement hardware compatible with the City's existing Qumulo Core software. Each option must provide two clustered storage environments with approximately 768 terabytes of raw capacity per cluster and 1,536 terabytes combined, redundant power, NAS hard drives, SSD flash storage, management connectivity, and the required network interfaces. Option A must support Active Directory integration, user and access-rights management, SMB and NFS file sharing, S3 buckets, quota management, analytics, forecasting, reporting, snapshots, and cluster-to-cluster replication. Both options require appropriate hardware and software support, warranty coverage, failed-component replacement, updates, patches, firmware improvements, vulnerability remediation, and identified implementation or deployment assistance. Proposers must provide technical responses, implementation approaches, support and warranty details, references, exceptions, and complete pricing including five-year total cost of ownership. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the City's IonWave e-bidding system; paper, email, fax, and other delivery methods are not accepted.
