Description
The City seeks qualified, licensed providers for court-referred services to defendants in misdemeanor cases. Services include screening, counseling, treatment, and educational programs such as substance-use treatment, domestic-violence intervention, anger control, life skills, parenting skills, shoplifting, and disorderly-conduct programs. The scope also includes electronic monitoring and remote alcohol testing, as directed by the referring court. Services are provided as needed, with no guaranteed minimum volume, and customers are responsible for payment. Providers must hold a current Arizona Department of Health Services, Office of Behavioral Health Licensing license for domestic-violence and substance-abuse counseling. Intake screening and treatment classes must be available at the provider’s facility, with classes offered at least two evenings per week after 5:00 p.m. The proposal must address service delivery, staffing and qualifications, relevant experience, customer service, reporting to the court, and pricing. The City may award to multiple vendors.
