Description
The City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department is seeking cartographic design services to create, maintain, and deliver accurate, user-friendly trail maps for more than 41,000 acres of mountain preserves and desert parks, over 200 miles of trails, and other park locations as needed. The contractor will use City-provided GIS data and ESRI ArcGIS Pro to produce print, web, mobile, kiosk, pocket, geoPDF, and other digital map formats. The scope includes validating GIS data; incorporating trailheads, restrooms, water stations, emergency access points, parking, landmarks, transit routes, accessibility information, trail difficulty ratings, and extreme-heat restrictions; developing interactive and route-planning features; coordinating website integration; and providing up to three revision rounds for specified deliverables. Final deliverables must include print-ready and digital files, editable source files, documentation, and licensing or usage-rights information. The contract has a two-year base term with one three-year extension option, and pricing is requested by labor category and hourly rate.
