Description
The County of San Diego is soliciting proposals for perinatal outpatient substance use disorder services for pregnant or parenting women, women seeking gender-specific care, and eligible adolescent females. Services include ASAM 1.0 outpatient and ASAM 2.1 intensive outpatient treatment, recovery services, screening and optional ambulatory withdrawal management, medication for addiction treatment, assertive field-based substance use disorder services, same-day MAT access, and contingency management for stimulant use disorder. Selected providers must operate Medi-Cal-certified services; meet specified annual client-volume targets; provide culturally and linguistically responsive care, parenting education, childcare, therapeutic interventions for clients' children, housing-resource coordination, and required reporting and quality-assurance activities. Proposals must address program approach, facility and operating hours, implementation, organizational experience, staffing, references, financial capacity, cultural and linguistic diversity, small-local-business utilization, acceptance of contract terms, and pricing. Up to five contracts may be awarded, one for each regional lot, with a one-year initial period and four one-year options.
