Description
The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price, requirements, non-personal services contract for recurring water sample testing and laboratory analysis supporting Chugach National Forest facilities in southcentral Alaska. Required testing includes coliform, nitrate, lead and copper, volatile organic compounds, arsenic, and any additional testing needed to ensure compliance with federal and state drinking-water regulations. The contractor must furnish the labor, supervision, equipment, materials, facilities, transportation, and other resources necessary to perform the work, with performance authorized through task orders. The laboratory performing the testing must be certified by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation for drinking-water testing and must be located within 120 driving miles of both Girdwood and Moose Pass. A prime contractor may use a qualified subcontract laboratory and may submit a subcontractor's applicable licenses, certifications, and credentials, provided the prime retains responsibility for contract administration and performance. Offers must include separate Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price attachments. Amendment 0001 extends the offer deadline to September 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM Alaska time; all other terms remain unchanged.
