Description
The Bureau of Land Management, Alaska State Office, is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to survey six closed, excluded, and unconveyed federal-land areas in the Ruby Mining District. The work requires generating a LiDAR dataset comparable to USGS Quality Level 1, including a 0.5-meter bare-earth Digital Terrain Model for approximately 2,121 acres across Flat Creek, Solomon Creek, Poorman Townsite, Greenstone Creek, Long Creek, and Trail Creek. Fixed-wing, UAS-based, or hybrid collection is acceptable if all technical and operational requirements are met. The updated project map controls the acreage and boundaries for pricing and flight planning: Long Creek 1,038 acres; Trail Creek 155 acres; Greenstone Creek 122 acres; Poorman Townsite 686 acres; Solomon Creek 37 acres; and Flat Creek 94 acres. The contractor must collect a point cloud with nominal pulse spacing below 0.35 meters, classify bare-earth points using standard ASPRS codes, meet the specified swath-to-swath accuracy and quality-control requirements, and use an RTK or PPK GNSS receiver. Deliverables include tiled LAZ 1.4 classified point clouds, 0.5-meter GeoTIFF bare-earth raster DEMs, 0.5-meter GeoTIFF first-return DSMs, FGDC-compliant metadata, and an electronic final report. Geospatial data are due approximately August 1, 2027, followed by the final report approximately August 31, 2027. All transportation, including rotary-wing access where needed, must be independently procured and included in the firm-fixed price. The amendment requires acknowledgment when submitting a quote, and the award will go to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror.
