Description
The U.S. Forest Service requires a firm-fixed-price, non-personal services contractor to remediate deficiencies in the exhibit lighting system at the Southeast Alaska Discovery Center. The work includes replacing approximately 50 selected lamps, diagnosing the track-lighting system for hotspots and potential replacement components, and diagnosing the controller, dimmer rack, dimmer modules, and console. Track-lighting diagnostics must be performed by a certified electrician, and headend-equipment diagnostics must be performed by a certified Vari-Lite technician. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and related resources, comply with applicable ANSI, OSHA, NFPA, and other standards, and furnish current licenses, endorsements, and certifications demonstrating authorization to operate in Alaska. The offer must include technical capability, past performance, and pricing materials. The period of performance is September 28, 2026, through January 31, 2027, with a possible service extension of up to six months under the applicable contract clause.
