Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting unarmed, uniformed security guard services for the Fairbanks Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. The contractor must furnish personnel, equipment, uniforms, radios, handcuffs, and supplies; provide one guard on site during weekday clinic hours; conduct internal and external patrols; respond to calls, alarms, and incidents; support escorts and intrusion-alarm testing; and maintain daily logs and monthly reports. The contractor must provide licensed Alaska security guards, supervision or dispatch oversight, uninterrupted coverage, guard training, background investigations, and a clinic-specific Standard Operating Procedure. The solicitation requires an executed SF 1449, pricing for line items 0001 through 4003, a technical approach addressing staffing, licensing, coverage, supervision, and communications, and past-performance information for similar contracts completed or ongoing within the last five years. The amendment changed the quantities for retention-pay CLINs 0002, 1002, 2002, 3002, and 4002 from six to two and extended the quote deadline to October 28, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. PDT. Award is contemplated as a firm-fixed-price contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods.
