Description
The City of Homer is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide project management for the System 4 Float Replacement Project at its boat harbor. The selected firm will manage the project in compliance with federal grant requirements and coordinate with the U.S. Department of Transportation Maritime Administration and the design-build contractor, Turnagain Marine Construction. The scope includes coordination through design and construction, environmental permitting, general project administration, and owner's representative services for replacement of a portion of the harbor's System 4 float. The underlying design-build project was awarded to Turnagain Marine Construction on January 12, 2026, and is funded by grants from the Denali Commission and the U.S. Department of Transportation Maritime Administration.
