Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price, non-personal services contract for brushing multiple trails in the Chugach National Forest. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other resources needed to cut, trim, and dispose of live and dead brush, slash, logs, and debris while maintaining safe public access. The work covers Portage Pass, Devil's Creek, Spencer Bench, and optional Lower Russian, Carter Lake, and Byron Glacier trails. Requirements include vegetation clearing within specified limits, debris placement, trail and traffic control, warning signs, coordination with Forest Service personnel, equipment inspections, and compliance with safety and environmental requirements. The solicitation requires technical capability, past performance, and price submissions; technical materials must address the service plan, work schedule, camping plan if applicable, equipment list, and confirmation of compliance with the performance period.
