Description
The Bureau of Land Management requires transportation of one 20-foot shipping container containing one UTV and one ATV, with contents weighing up to 5,000 pounds, plus two 12-inch-by-12-inch-by-10-foot wood timbers. The container will be fully packed, secured, and ready for pickup at 4700 BLM Road, Anchorage, Alaska. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and transportation services, using road, water, or a combination of modes as route accessibility requires. The scope includes pickup, secure transportation, seasonal river or barge service when necessary, delivery from the Red Devil river or barge landing to the Red Devil airport property, unloading, leveling or placing the timbers as needed, and positioning the container on the timbers. No unloading or lifting equipment will be available at Red Devil, so the contractor must provide all required equipment. Delivery should occur as early as possible once the Kuskokwim River is navigable, with anticipated pickup in April or May 2027, and must be completed by December 31, 2027.
