Description
The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a qualified concessionaire to operate seasonal food and non-alcoholic beverage services inside the Fish Creek Lodge at Eaglecrest Ski Area. The operation is expected to include grab-and-go items, hot made-to-order food, daily or weekly specials, fountain and bottled beverages, and service for regular ski-season operations, holidays, school groups, and special events. The concessionaire may receive exclusive rights for external food and beverage sales at certain mountain events. The selected contractor must provide staffing, operational and cleaning supplies, any additional equipment, a point-of-sale system with daily reporting, signage and promotional materials, food deliveries, daily janitorial services for the concession areas, kitchen trash removal, and annual post-season deep cleaning. The contractor must obtain required permits and licenses, carry insurance meeting City requirements, and submit a response describing its business concept, proposed menu and revenue-sharing model, management strategy, relevant food and beverage experience, personnel, and at least three professional references. The anticipated initial term runs from November 1, 2026, or as soon as feasible, through June 30, 2027, with up to four annual renewals and a maximum total term of five years.
