Description
The Federal Aviation Administration is conducting a presolicitation and sources-sought inquiry for engineering services supporting remedial investigation and remedial action at 16 Environmental Cleanup Program sites and areas of concern at a former FAA station. The anticipated work includes vegetation clearing, excavation of petroleum-contaminated peat and soil, off-island disposal of contaminated peat, confirmation sampling, laboratory analysis, and preparation of a detailed work plan. Laboratory processes must include silica gel cleanup and achieve detection limits suitable for comparison with applicable cleanup levels. The work will occur on the Annette Island Reserve under the authority of the Metlakatla Indian Community. Interested small businesses must demonstrate relevant experience with the Metlakatla Indian Community Environmental Council regulations and its worker, business-permitting, and materials-purchasing policies, as well as similar projects completed within the last five years. Respondents must submit a capability statement containing company information, address, point of contact, UEI, and relevant project experience with supporting contract and reference information. Responses are limited to five pages and should be marked proprietary as applicable.
