Description
The National Park Service is soliciting proposals from small-business concerns for a firm-fixed-price window replacement project at Western Arctic Parklands housing in Kotzebue and Bering Land Bridge National Preserve housing in Nome, Alaska. The base item covers replacement of 54 windows in three Kotzebue residential structures using government-furnished Milgard V400 Tuscany vinyl windows. The option item covers replacement of 25 windows in the Nome Bunkhouse, for which the contractor must procure, ship, and install windows meeting the specified performance requirements, including Inline Fiberglass Series 300A or equal. The work includes site visits, removal and disposal of existing windows, inspection and repair of rot or water intrusion, flashing and weatherproofing, trim and finish repairs, installation materials, resident coordination, site protection, safety planning, quality control, and weekly photo documentation. Offers must include pricing for both the base and option items. The solicitation is a 100% total small-business set-aside and requires a 20% bid guarantee, performance and payment bonds, liability insurance, past-performance information, and compliance with the 85% general-construction limitation on subcontracting. Amendment 0003 extends the offer deadline to September 16, 2026, and provides an updated subcontracting percentage worksheet.
