Description
The Bureau of Land Management is seeking a sole-source contractor to conduct ground-based surveys of Alaska marmot habitat on BLM-managed lands within the Central Yukon Field Office study area. The work includes locating and mapping marmot colonies and refining an existing Alaska marmot habitat suitability model developed under a prior BLM contract. The resulting data must be compatible with previously collected data and integrated into future versions of the habitat model. The estimated contract value is $45,000, with a stated period of performance from September 28, 2026, through September 27, 2027. The solicitation identifies ABR, Inc. as the proposed source because of its prior development of the existing model and associated data products.
