Description
The U.S. Forest Service, Chugach National Forest, is soliciting a firm-fixed-price, requirements, non-personal services contract for integrated fire protection systems. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and related services for fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, backflow preventers, and approximately 115 fire extinguishers. Required work includes annual inspection, testing, certification, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, replacement and disposal of fire protection equipment, and remote monitoring of designated fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Services must comply with applicable NFPA, OSHA, ANSI/AWWA, and state requirements. The contract has a base period beginning on the date of award through August 31, 2027, with four 12-month option periods extending through August 31, 2031. The opportunity requires a technical capability submission, past-performance submission, and completed price sheet; current Alaska-authorized licenses, endorsements, certifications, and insurance are also required for performance.
