Description
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is seeking a fixed-price quotation for one miniature six-degree-of-freedom hexapod positioning system configured for vertical mounting, loads exceeding 3.0 kg, sub-micrometer linear accuracy, 0.4-arcsecond angular accuracy, active sensor feedback, PID-controlled motion, in-position stability, and specified linear and angular travel ranges. The system must support a 10-meter cable length, Ethernet or USB controls, EPICS and Python interfaces, an available SDK, and a high-accuracy calibration package. The requested package includes the hexapod, hexapod drive, motion development kit, intelligent motion controller, motor and feedback cables, production-services configuration, and on-site startup assistance. Evaluation will consider lowest price and best lead time. The quotation should include applicable HTS and ECCN information, requested representations and certifications, Buy American Act certification when applicable, and any available academic, institutional, government, or GSA discount. The resulting purchase order will be fixed price with net-30 payment terms.
