Description
The contractor will provide and install commercial internet and Wi-Fi services for approximately 304 users across nine unaccompanied housing dormitories at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The scope includes broadband access of at least 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload per dormitory room; modems, routers, switches, software, cabling, and other equipment; use of existing Cat5e, fiber, conduit, and cabling where suitable; upgrades and equipment installation in designated mechanical rooms and the Titan Building 13135 telecommunications room; disposal of old hardware; a captive portal requiring individual user login and displaying terms and conditions; and content filtering consistent with applicable Air Force policy. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, incidental engineering, and related services. No name-brand equipment is required, and the contractor's equipment will remain contractor-owned. This is a firm-fixed-price commercial service acquisition with a base period, four option years, and a possible six-month extension. It is a 100 percent small-business set-aside. Quotes will be evaluated on price, technical capability, and past performance. The technical submission must be a separate document of no more than 10 pages and include a technical approach, detailed installation plan, and timeline. The completed pricing schedule must include all base-period and option-period contract line items.
