Description
The U.S. Air Force is seeking a small-business contractor to evaluate, design, procure, and install an upgrade to the existing Honeywell VINDICATOR Intrusion Detection System and Automated Access Control System. The work includes evaluating approximately 18 end-of-life Honeywell V5 panels and related infrastructure, procuring and installing Honeywell V6 panels and associated equipment, and integrating the upgraded systems with existing base infrastructure and reporting at the 9th Security Forces Squadron Base Defense Operations Center. The project covers four SCIFs totaling approximately 200,000 square feet and includes cabling, wiring, switches, hubs, software, system-management components, readers, alarm contacts, motion sensors, testing, programming, training, manuals, and warranties. All equipment and installation must comply with ICD 705 and applicable security requirements. Contractor personnel must be certified on Honeywell VINDICATOR systems and qualified for troubleshooting, repair, testing, diagnostics, and programming. An option item covers replacement of a Korby pinpad with an HID proximity reader and integration into SCIF open/close controls. The amended RFQ anticipates a firm-fixed-price contract with a proposed performance period from September 30, 2026, through February 28, 2027.
