Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to provide personnel, transportation, tools, equipment, supplies, and technical expertise to operate, inspect, test, maintain, chemically treat, troubleshoot, and repair industrial water treatment systems supporting cooling towers, boilers, thermal ice storage systems, and closed-loop HVAC systems. Work includes preventive maintenance, water sampling and chemical monitoring, water-quality control, system repairs, emergency response, maintenance of water softeners and related components, bacterial analysis, trend analysis, monthly and quarterly reporting, and over-and-above repair work when authorized. The contractor must respond to emergency service calls within one hour and be on-site within four hours, restore systems within required timeframes, comply with applicable environmental, safety, labor, and installation requirements, and provide required plans and reports. The acquisition is set aside for eligible HUBZone small businesses and requires a current CMMC Level 1 self-assessment before award. The initial period of performance is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with additional annual ordering periods identified through March 31, 2032.
